1911-02-11German Women's Organization Endorses Homosexual Law Reform
Doctors Magnus Hirschfeld, a prominent sexologist and activist for gay freedom, and Helen Stocker, an activist for woman’s rights, address the League for the Protection of Maternity and Sexual Reform on the need to decriminalize sex between consenting adults. As a result of their lecture, the League became the first German women’s organization to endorse homosexual law reform.
